Orissa is fast emerging as the manufacturing hub of the East in India through its industry-friendly environment and policy framework, it is the eastern gateway to the ASEAN region.

In the state, numerous opportunities for investments have opened up for investors across different sectors; includes industrial parks, textiles, manufacturing, food processing, petrochemicals, energy, and downstream industries.

The state is served by 3 ports - Paradip, Dhamra, and Gopalpur. Paradip Port is one of the largest ports on the eastern coast of India and has a capacity of 127 MMT. It is the largest port in India in terms of average output per ship-berth-day.

Zamil Steel Buildings India Private Limited has recently designed, supplied and erected a 600 meter long storage unit at Pradip Port.

In Orissa, Zamil has constructed Multiple Paper Mills & Warehouses for Paper Industry, Food Parks & Cold Storages for Food & Beverages, Feed & Processing Plants for Agriculture, Indoor Stadiums for Educational and Showrooms & Workshops for Automobile Industry.
