Zamil Steel India is proud to be associated with the country’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, OLA, in constructing a state-of-the-art cell giga factory that promises to be a game-changer for the industry. This factory is set to be a roadmap to power India’s electric vehicle revolution.
We are excited to announce the successful completion of our second project and the first phase of the Cell Manufacturing Factory. Our scope of work involved the design, fabrication, supply, and installation of pre-engineered steel structures for this monumental factory.
The factory, with impressive Built up area of 47,749 Sqm spread across three mezzanines and expandable to over a 1,00,000 Sqm.
This collaboration marks a significant achievement for Zamil Steel India, showcasing our commitment to excellence and innovation in construction. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the entire OLA team for their visionary leadership and dedication to advancing India’s electric vehicle infrastructure.
Additionally, Zamil Steel Buildings India Pvt. Ltd. takes pride in its collaboration with a OLA to establish the world’s biggest e-scooter production facility in India. This manufacturing unit, expansive over 500 acres in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, boasts the ability to produce 5 million units annually.
The contract’s scope covered the design, fabrication, supply, and installation of over 7,500 metric tons of pre-engineered steel structures for this EV factory. Amidst the EV revolution, Zamil Steel India (ZSI) managed to supply and build the first phase of this future factory in a mere four months. Zamil Steel India has remarkably transformed this vast expanse of barren rock land into the world’s largest 2-wheeler factory.
