Landmark manufacturing facility for Carl Zeiss

Zamil Steel India has successfully delivered a state-of-the-art lens manufacturing facility for Carl Zeiss India Pvt. Ltd. in Devanahalli, Bangalore
The project involved constructing a complex pre-engineered building (PEB) structure weighing 9,000 MT and spanning 90,000 square meters.
The facility also features a massive 196 x 240 meter RCC slab, with all construction activities executed externally to enhance safety and efficiency.
A key highlight of the project was the use of two 700 ton cranes deployed on either side of the site for the first time each with a 100 meter reach.
Equipped with a working radius of 100 meters and a height of 105 meters, the cranes handled loads of up to 6.5 MT at the tip, enabling precise installation across the large site.
