Punjab - A prominent textile hub

Punjab, one of the northernmost states of India, is bordered by Jammu & Kashmir in the north, Himachal Pradesh in the northeast, Haryana in the south and southeast, and Rajasthan in the southwest. Punjab has emerged as a key hub for textile-based industries with the development of apparel parks, favorable textile policy and other incentives for the creation of textile infrastructure.

Emerging industries in Punjab:

The state provides investment opportunities in sectors such as textiles, agro-based industries, automotive and auto components, sports goods, and light engineering goods.

Zamil Steel India contributes in a big way to the textile sector of the State, has set up textile unit for one of the renowned group in the industry at Sanghera, Punjab. The scope of the contract comprised the design, fabrication, supply and erection of more than 37,346 M2 of pre-engineered steel buildings for their textile unit.

In Punjab, Zamil Steel India has constructed more than 100 industrial projects which includes textile unit, paper mill unit, warehouse & logistics facility, factory, production unit, manufacturing facility, etc...
