Thursday, 15th July 2021

Zamil Steel Buildings India Pvt. Ltd. and Zamil Construction India Pvt. Ltd. have been recertified for their Integrated Management System (IMS) certification for their facilities in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This certification unifies the three key standards – ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System; ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System; and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System – into one coherent system.

The IMS surveillance audits were conducted by third-party auditors from Bureau Veritas India (BVIS), with a further continuation of certification.

The scope of Zamil Steel Buildings India’s certification includes the design, manufacture, and shipment of pre-engineered steel buildings and steel structures, while the scope of Zamil Construction India’s certification includes pre-engineered buildings and structural steel erection and turnkey solutions.

BVIS performed a rigorous assessment and evaluation of the companies’ management systems and confirmed their satisfaction with both companies’ Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environment standards. It took an outstanding and combined team effort to attain this certification within a short duration and to transition smoothly from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001. The focus of the audit was to ensure continued compliance with the latest ISO standards and to take corrective steps, as needed.
